Team workshops and facilitations
Human-centred team performance interventions that improve how teams communication, collaborate and perform together
Strong teams don’t happen by accident.
They’re built through trust, communication, psychological safety and leaders who know how to bring out the best in the people around them.
Yet many teams are expected to perform at a high level without ever being given the space or support to develop these skills.
My team workshops are designed to strengthen the human dynamics that underpin team performance, helping teams communicate more effectively, navigate challenges constructively and work together with greater clarity and trust.
These workshops are not generic training days.
They’re high-impact development interventions designed to help teams strengthen the behaviours and relationships that drive long-term performance.
They’re particularly valuable for teams who want to:
Strengthen communication and collaboration
Build greater trust and psychological safety
Address tensions before they escalate into conflict
Improve feedback, accountability and decision-making
Create a more positive and sustainable team culture
The goal is not simply to discuss these issues, but to give teams practical tools they can apply immediately in their day-to-day work.
Core workshop themes
Workshops are typically designed around one or more of the following areas:
Communication That Strengthens Teams - Understanding communication styles, improving listening skills and learning how to communicate clearly and constructively.
Turning Conflict Into Collaboration - Helping teams address differences productively, manage difficult conversations and move from tension to constructive dialogue.
Building Trust and Psychological Safety - Creating environments where people feel able to contribute, challenge ideas and take ownership without fear of blame or judgement.
Creating High-Trust, High-Performance Cultures - Exploring the behaviours that shape team culture and how leaders can create environments where people feel valued, engaged and motivated.
Building Resilient Teams - Supporting teams to manage pressure, maintain perspective and sustain performance without burnout.
Mission, vision and values - A collaborative session designed to define or refine your mission (what you do), vision (where you’re going) and values (how you behave).
Workshop format and structure
Diagnostics and preparation
To ensure workshops are relevant and impactful, each workshop begins with a short discovery and diagnostic phase.
This includes a discovery conversation with the team leader or commissioning organisation, and may include pre-workshop short team diagnostics or surveys or DISC behavioural profiling.
This allows the workshop to focus on the real dynamics within the team, rather than delivering generic content that doesn’t deliver what you need.
Delivery
Workshops are designed to be highly interactive and practical, combining evidence-based insights with discussion, reflection and real-world application.
Sessions are delivered in person and typically designed for teams of up to 20 participants.
Typical formats include half-day workshops (3–4 hours) or full-day workshops (6 hours).
DISC behavioural profiling (optional add on)
For workshops focused on communication, collaboration or leadership teams, DISC behavioural profiling can be incorporated into the session.
DISC helps teams:
Understand different communication and working preferences
Improve collaboration between personality styles
Reduce misunderstanding and friction
Develop more flexible and effective ways of working together
DISC profiling can be added to any workshop.
Investment
Workshops are priced based on format and level of preparation required.
Half-day workshop (3–4 hours) - from £2,250
Full-day workshop (6-7 hours) - from £3,500
All workshops include:
Pre-workshop discovery conversation with the team leader or commissioning organisation
Workshop design and preparation tailored to your team
Interactive facilitated session delivery
Practical tools and frameworks participants can apply immediately
Travel, venue and catering costs are typically covered by the commissioning organisation.
Optional diagnostic add-ons
Diagnostics can be included before the workshop to ensure the session addresses the real dynamics within the team.
Team diagnostic survey and analysis -£750
A short pre-workshop team survey designed to surface communication patterns, trust levels and areas of friction within the team. Results are analysed and incorporated into the workshop design to ensure the session focuses on the issues that matter most.
DISC behavioural profiling - £95–£125 per participant
DISC behavioural profiles help teams understand the different communication and working styles that make up their unique dynamic. Used within the workshop, DISC can significantly improve communication and collaboration, as well as giving insight into behavioural triggers and conflict prevention and resolution.
Optional follow up support
Sustainable behaviour change often requires support, reiteration and reinforcement after the workshop. Follow-up options include:
Virtual consolidation session - £750
A 90-minute online session delivered 4–6 weeks after the workshop to reflect on progress, address new challenges, reinforce key behaviours and ensure tools introduced in the workshop are being applied in practice.
Leadership coaching for team lead - £900
Two 60-minute coaching sessions designed to support the team leader in embedding the changes introduced during the workshop. This helps ensure leadership behaviours continue to reinforce the new team dynamics.
