The Human Performance Leadership Programme

A strategic leadership development programme for emerging leaders

Many organisations promote talented people into leadership roles without giving them the human skills required to lead effectively.

Technical expertise alone does not create strong leaders.

Leaders must learn how to communicate clearly, build trust, manage difficult conversations and create environments where teams can perform at their best.

The Human Performance Leadership Programme™ is a structured leadership development programme designed to build these capabilities.

Built on the Human Performance Leadership Framework™, the programme develops the emotional intelligence, communication and leadership skills required to lead people with confidence and impact.

Who this programme is for

The Human Performance Leadership Programme™ is designed for organisations developing their next generation of leaders.

Participants typically include:

  • Newly promoted managers

  • Aspiring leaders preparing for promotion

  • Mid-level managers building leadership capability

  • Technical specialists transitioning into leadership roles

  • High-potential employees identified for progression

The programme is most effective for organisations that want to:

  • Strengthen their leadership pipeline

  • Develop emotionally intelligent leaders

  • Improve team culture and engagement

  • Reduce conflict and miscommunication

  • Create psychologically safe, high-performing teams

The leadership challenge

Many emerging leaders face the same challenges:

  • Managing former peers

  • Giving feedback and holding people accountable

  • Handling conflict and difficult conversations

  • Managing pressure and expectations

  • Building trust within their teams

Without support, these challenges often lead to stress and burnout, poor team communication, disengaged employees and inconsistent leadership behaviour.

The Human Performance Leadership Programme™ helps leaders build the confidence and capability required to navigate these challenges successfully.

The Human Performance Leadership Framework

The programme is built on the Human Performance Leadership Framework™, which develops the four capabilities that drive leadership effectiveness and team success.

Self Leadership - Emotional intelligence, confidence, resilience and leadership identity.

Relational Leadership - Communication, trust, feedback and healthy conflict.

Team Leadership - Understanding team dynamics, building culture and strengthening collaboration.

Strategic Leadership - Decision-making, prioritisation, influence and leadership impact.

This framework ensures leadership development is practical, behavioural and sustainable.

  • Confirm cohort structure and timing
